We used our knowledge of walking safely near traffic to help us walk around the local community, inviting residents nearby school to our key stage 1 performance.
Baseball After School Club
Members of Gillibrand have had the opportunity to take part in a baseball club this half-term.

Wicked performing arts fun….
Six Key Stage 1 pupils were chosen to take part in a special drama and dance workshop at a local dance school to help develop new passions and interests. The theme of the event was Wicked! Have a look at some photos here…
Father Jordan Advent Assembly and Year 3 Curriculum Visit

Thank you to our volunteers
Last week, we celebrated the kindness and support of volunteers by inviting members of our school community into school for a brew and cake. This year weave already had a huge numbers of volunteers support with readers, trips and fundraising events in school. Christmas Tree Decorating Assembly
Following the success of last years event we held our bauble making competition to allow pupils to showcase their artist talents. We also included several festive acts inspired by our Gillibrand’s Got Passions and interest events.
Live Jazz Band
Today we had a special visit from Music Alive Jazz band, a professional group of musicians offering a unique practical performance demonstrating various musical instruments including trumpet, trombone, saxophone, piano, bass and drums and styles from jazz to soul and igniting our pupils to have a passion and interest in jazz music.
