Gillibrand children aspire to leave a legacy in the world and make a difference to others. They push the boundaries of what is possible to be the best they can be. They are encouraged to explore their passions and interests. They embrace opportunities to follow their dreams with confidence and self belief. They are courageous and persevere to fulfil their potential.
WE NURTURE CHILDREN’S DREAMS
Headteacher's Welcome
Gillibrand is a happy and caring school with a nurturing environment where all staff work together to ensure the best outcomes for all its pupils. We are passionate about creating a positive culture that ensures our school vision and values is at the heart of all we do. It is our strong vision, linked to our mission statement and values, that guides our pupils thinking and behaviours to create a culture where pupils learn to live positive, universal values. This is overarched by our vision statement ‘We Nurture Children’s Dreams’. Not only do we encourage pupils to have high aspirations but through our carefully designed curriculum we ensure that children have the knowledge, skills, values and attributes to be whatever they dream to be and to develop into citizens that make positive contributions to the world they live in.
We strive for:
high standards from everyone involved in the school;
high status for every person as an individual
high expectations of every one as they strive to be the best they can be
At Gillibrand Primary School we encourage our children to be happy, to be confident and to believe that they can succeed.
