Recently, a group of pupils from Gillibrand Primary School proudly took part in a sports festival where they had the opportunity to play boccia. The day was a wonderful celebration of inclusion, teamwork and determination, with our children showing enthusiasm, respect and encouragement for one another throughout. Boccia gave everyone the chance to participate, succeed and have fun, regardless of ability, and our pupils represented the school brilliantly. It was inspiring to see their confidence grow as they tried something new, supported their peers and embraced the true spirit of inclusive sport.
