Stone Age shelter building
This week the children built a Stone Age shelter. They had to decide on the best place to build it then work as a team to create the structure. We managed to fit 6 children in at a time. We talked about what it would have been like in Stone Age times and compared it to our lives today.

Tesco Diwali Talk
On Monday we learned more about the Hindu festival of Diwali when Helen and Adam from Tesco came into school.
We created some amazing Rangoli patterns on the playground using chalk, rice, lentils, split peas and pasta.
Outdoor Club

Building a Stone Age Shelter
We loved building a Stone Age shelter this morning.
It wasn't very big but we managed to fit four children inside it.

Mile Monday
This half term every Monday morning we have walked a mile. This has been great exercise and has really woken us up ready to learn.
