Gillibrand is a happy and caring school with a nurturing environment where all staff work together to ensure the best outcomes for all its pupils. We are passionate about creating a positive culture that ensures our school vision and values is at the heart of all we do. It is our strong vision, linked to our mission statement and values, that guides our pupils thinking and behaviours to create a culture where pupils learn to live positive, universal values. This is overarched by our vision statement ‘We Nurture Children’s Dreams’. Not only do we encourage pupils to have high aspirations but through our carefully designed curriculum we ensure that children have the knowledge, skills, values and attributes to be whatever they dream to be and to develop into citizens that make positive contributions to the world they live in.

Anglo-Saxon Workshop for Year 5 and 6
Today Year 5 and 6 took part in a Anglo-Saxon workshop.
Outdoor Learning
It's not often we get snow so we made the most of the weather change to inspire our learning! Key Stage 1 and reception pupils used the weather to inspire their science learning thinking about different seasons as well as melting and freezing whilst Key Stage 2 focused on teambuilding through different areas of the curriculum including maths, science and technology.
