Today, as part of their unit about rocks and soils, Year 3 conducted an investigation testing the properties of a range of rocks. We tested marble, slate, granite, chalk, limestone and sandstone to see if they were hard or soft, whether they floated or sank, whether they were permeable or not and whether they were magnetic or not.
