Welcome to our third and final group of reception new starter for 2024-2025!
Our final group of new starters joined us on 11th September 2024 and completed our classroom of 25! As the youngest of the group this was a big, challenging step up from nursery but they did absolutely amazingly and soon came out of their shells to show their lovely personalities.
The last group toured school, meeting all of the staff and students in the rest of school and made a big impression as the Year 6 children couldn't wait to buddy up with reception and become positive role models during lunchtime duties. Furthermore, This last group of children have shown off their amazing fine motor skills by making bead string patterns and shown us that they love making towers in the construction area. We can't wait to continue this exploration of structure and pattern in maths and art.
We are so excited to have our full cohort of reception children for 2024/2025 and get stuck in to our learning journey next week.
