This week reception class have been learning all about the life cycle of a caterpillar. To help develop their scientific enquiry skills pupils have been observing the changes of real-life caterpillars through using their observational skills. The children have really emerged themselves in their learning, all about caterpillars including enjoying learning about days of the week and different foods through exploring Eric Carle's 'The Hungry Caterpillar'.
