In the Early Years Foundation Stage the learning that goes on outside is of equal importance to the learning in the classroom. The children learn and develop through play and enjoyment. We are currently training and working towards a quality mark to ensure our Reception Class are experiencing the highest quality outdoor provision.
This term we intend to enrich and develop areas of the outdoor classroom including, the 'mud kitchen', role-play areas, natural, vegetable and wildlife areas. If any parents or grandparents have an interest in gardening and would be able to offer any assistance, particularly with planting a herb garden, please speak to Mrs O'Hanlon.
