Today in assembly the children were told about the National Trust Challenge.

This involves the children heading outdoors to complete a range of fun and exciting adventures.

Visit the web page here to find out more information.

There is also an app that can be downloaded too which will help keep track of any activites that have been completed.

We have set all children who will be in Year 3, 4, 5 or 6 from September 2016 the challenge of completing all 50 activities between now and next summer.

For children who will be in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 from September, we are challenging them to complete 25 activities by summer 2017.

The children will bring home their activity sheets this week, and they can also be downloaded below.

We have asked that children could aim to complete 5 activites over the summer holidays if they can, and then bring in evidence to show that they have completed a challenge, so we can add this to our display in school. This display will then be added to and changed throughout the course of the new academic year.

All the children seem to be very excited about this homework challenge.

Have a great holiday and we hope you have lots of fun!
