This week, we were delighted to welcome Katy from SCARF into school to deliver a series of engaging and interactive PSHE workshops for every year group.
Throughout the day, pupils explored a range of important themes designed to support their personal, social and emotional development. Each workshop was carefully tailored to the age and stage of the children, encouraging thoughtful discussion, confidence-building and positive wellbeing.
The sessions included:
- Year 1: My Wonderful Body
- Year 2: Feelings
- Year 3: Meet the Brain
- Year 4: It’s Great to be Me
- Year 5: Friends
- Year 6: Decisions
- All About Me sessions for our youngest pupils
Children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the activities and discussions, and Katy’s warm and engaging approach helped pupils feel confident to share their ideas and experiences.
The workshops supported our PSHE curriculum by helping children to understand themselves and others, develop healthy relationships, recognise emotions and make positive choices. Staff were incredibly impressed with the thoughtful contributions from pupils across the school.
We would like to thank Katy and SCARF for providing such valuable learning experiences for our children.
