On Wednesday, our brand new 4-metre by 2-metre sandpit, officially opened as part of our continued commitment to OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) development.
Gillibeach was a huge hit on its first day, with pupils celebrating the launch to the sound of upbeat music and the thrill of a beach-style volleyball match. The new area has quickly became a hub of activity, laughter, and imaginative play enjoyed by all ages.
More than just a sandpit, Gillibeach offers a creative and inclusive space where children can dig, build, relax, and engage in teamwork. It supports our goal of providing rich, varied outdoor experiences that inspire active, joyful learning for all.
