Today, Year 5 had the pleasure of taking part in Mr Wood’s Horror Art Workshop, and what a fantastic experience it was!
As part of the AFMAT, we are fortunate to benefit from strong links with our high schools (Parklands High School), giving our pupils access to exciting opportunities across a range of subjects. During today’s session, the children explored horror-themed art and worked incredibly hard to develop their shading techniques, focusing on creating texture and atmosphere in their drawings.
The workshop was a brilliant example of our school values in action – pupils showed creativity, resilience, and pride in their learning. Their concentration, effort and enthusiasm were clear to see, and the results speak for themselves!
Take a look through the photos to see the impressive artwork they produced – well done, Year 5!
