Today was the first of 6 Boccia after school clubs where children developed their, teamwork, communication and hand-eye coordination skills in a range of throwing games. Boccia is a Paralympic sport designed for athletes with high support needs and has no Olympic equivalent. It is a target sport played with soft leather balls. It is a sport of intriguing tactics, incredible skill and nail biting tension.  It is a sport that is fully inlcusive and a new passion and interest that we hope to igniate in our children as as support our pupils with additional needs and widen our pupils understanding of differences and disabilties.
