As part of our geography lessons, Year 1 have been looking at where we live and learning the importance of an address. This week we invited parents in to support us writing a letter. We then put these letters in an envelope, wrote out the address added a stamp. On Friday, we then visited the local Post Office where we spoke to the Post Master about the role of the Post Office and posted our letters in the post box. The children are very excited to see the letters arrive at their destinations. If parents could take a picture when the letter arrives and send via dojo we would be very grateful.
