Over the past two days the children in Key Stage 2 have taken part in activities to develop their understanding of French language, culture, food, geography and currency. The children have had a fantastic time and have obviously learned a lot too.
It has been wonderful to see the children so engaged in their learning whilst they took part in dance, sport, music, art and many other interesting activities. The theme of our two days has been 'La Ville Francaise'-The French Town. Through this theme children have experienced aspects of life in a French town.

Amy in Year 4 said, "I have learned to speak better French."
Ruby in Year 6 said, "I enjoyed speaking in French in a conversation."
Eddie in Year 6 said,"I found learning about the French game boules and learning about the country of France really interesting."
Oliver in Year 4 said,"I found everything interesting!"
What a fantastic 2 days, with so much learning taking place! Well done KS2.
