We have had a great final week at school and we have certainly got into the Christmas spirit with parties, entertainers, Christmas food and a whole load of fun!

Christmas Wishes
We've had a great end to 2016 in Year 5. The children enjoyed visiting various countries during our Christmas Around the World topic which was followed by their Christmas party and lunch.

Happy Christmas Year 4
It has been a fantastic end of term for Year 4.
They all enjoyed the KS2 Christmas party and then we had the Christmas lunch yesterday.

Christmas music assembly
Today we performed in our music assembly. We sang and played the guitar to a range of rap, reggae and Christmas songs. Eddie, Harrison and William even played a solo! The whole school enjoyed it and joined in with some of the songs.

This week we have been learning about the phases of the moon and learning more about the astronaut Tim Peake.
The children thoroughly enjoyed recreating the moon phases using Oreo biscuits, especially eating them once they had finished the task!

KS1 Nativity
We all had an amazing time this week performing our Nativity. The children all working extremely hard and were outstanding, particularly those children who had lines and/or lyrics to learn.

Rev Mashiter's visit to year 6
Today Reverend Mashiter came to talk to us in our R.E. lesson. We have been learning all about how Christians prepare for Christmas. He talked to us about how they prepare in the church and how their beliefs guide their preparations. We learnt a lot. Thank you for visiting us.
