Mother’s Day Assembly
What a wonderful way to end the week with the children celebrating Mother’s day with members of their family.
The children wrote and performed their own poem based on Gemma Lees poem ‘Ethan the Elephant’ and sang a song with Year One to thank their mothers.
At the end of the assembly the children gave cards and flowers out.
Cain was the lucky winner of a prize for his character design for the local author Gemma Lees, who visited our school last week. He was awarded his prize during the assembly. Well done to Cain!
