This week in Reception we have continued our theme of Ourselves. The children have been thinking about what human beings look like and what their similarities and differences might be. The children enjoyed thinking about what humans are like as babies and next week we will go on to think more about how people grow and change as they get older. We are also exploring themes of friendship, responsibility, being honest, being fair and following rules as part of Personal and Social Development. The story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears has been our Literacy focus and the children have enjoyed re-enacting the story using costumes in the home corner.
We have also being practising hard for the Harvest Festival and can't wait to perform our song for the pupils and parents next Friday.
