'The Explorer'
Year Two watched a short clip this week in English about an explorer who travelled to the jungle in search of an immortal, golden monkey. We discussed the story and what happened but we didn't think that the ending was very good.
As a class we discussed what could happen instead and then started to draw our own story maps with our partners. After that we went into the hall and acted out our new ending. The children were then ready to write their new ending to the story. I'm looking forward to reading the final versions this weekend.
