Year 5 had a fantastic afternoon yesterday thanks to Mark from Empiribox, a science company that specialises in delivering practical science.
Mark demonstrated a series of activties and questioned the children about the science behind them. All the children showed fantastic knowledge and he was very impressed by their understanding of scientific concepts.
The children had the chance to take part in some practical investigations. The most popular was the exploding film canister. The mess created in the classroom was horrendous but the learning that took place was unbelievable. All in all it was a great afternoon.
