This week is Coding Week in school, where children have the opportunity to learn how to program and make their own simple computer game. Today, Year 4 have amazed Mrs Casey with their computing and programming skills. They have picked skills up much quicker than most adults!! We have used Kodu Game Lab to create our own game worlds. We then were able to add characters and program the character to move and collect objects. We also managed to add algorithms to ensure that when all the objects were collected you could score points and a 'Winner' sign would appear. Next, we are looking to add enemies to our game as well as other important game features. Year 4 have loved it!
