This week Year Two wrote poems about the cherry bloosom trees. We went into the local area to look at the beautiful cherry blossom trees along the roadside near school. We collected words and phrases about the trees and their blossom to help with our poems. After we had written the poems we performed them in front of the class.
It's Snow Pink!
Petals falling from the tall trees like pink snow.
The bright sun shining through the white, fluffy clouds.
Petals pink and purple.
Wind pushing the purple petals to the floor.
Delicate petals fall from the tall trees like pink snow.
